eprom remixes the earlies. breaking point. tNEP <3s versatility.

if you haven’t heard, you need to: staylucid’s got the exclusive eprom remix of the earlies’ breaking point.

the tune? thematic. climactic. seemingly overwhelming at certain moments. i guess it lives up to its name.

this remix is like reaching the tippy-top of whatever it is you’re climbing and realizing how high you are and trying to breathe while taking it all in. on the production tip, almost hauntingly screaming synths trip you up while the crisp background keeps it all together with syncopation.

eprom does no wrong, no matter what style his sound is. whatever boundary he’s pushing… PLEASE KEEP PUSHING IT.

big ups to staylucid on the download and @commasounds on the tip. tNEP <3s free (good!!!) tunes.

——-

little extra bit of bass-laden goodness: eskmo remixed spor’s knock you down and well, yeah, it’s lovely. i love how dreamy it sounds despite how uncomfortable it makes me… love. that. feeling. another boundary pusher in the land of bass music… eskmo.

i haven’t decided yet when i’ll be catching these two during their US tour – i hope more than once – either in chicago, new york (dub war!!! and my birthday!) or austin(sxsw)… we shall see. hopefully all three. wish they could make a stop in cleveland, too… wah.
