Papa…Can I Borrow $25?

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated,

to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.

SON: ‘Daddy, may I ask you a question?’

DAD: ‘Yeah sure, what it is?’ replied the man.

SON: ‘Daddy, how much do you make an hour?’

DAD: ‘That’s none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?’

the man said angrily.

SON: ‘I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?’

DAD: ‘If you must know, I make $50 an hour.’

SON: ‘Oh,’ the little boy replied, with his head down.

SON: ‘Daddy, may I please borrow $25?’

The father was furious, ‘If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don’t work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.’

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.

The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy’s questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?

After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started to think:

Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25.00 and he really didn’t ask for money very often The man went to the door of the little boy’s room and opened the door.

‘Are you asleep, son?’ He asked.

‘No daddy, I’m awake,’ replied the boy.

‘I’ve been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier’ said the man. ‘It’s been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here’s the $25 you asked for.’

The little boy sat straight up, smiling. ‘Oh, thank you daddy!’ he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.

The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.

The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.

‘Why do you want more money if you already have some?’ the father grumbled.

‘Because I didn’t have enough, but now I do,’ the little boy replied.

‘Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.’

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.

It’s just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $50 worth of your time with someone you love.

If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

Several years ago, BS.Player used to be one of the better multicodec free video playback applications around. It then started to be bundled with adware, popularity dropped, and other programs took up its slack. BS.Player returns now with a free version, a new interface, and new jukebox capabilities for video and audio.

The interface loads as a refurbished skin of the original dashboard, and you can even reskin the it back to its original look. Track name, length, and time elapsed are front and center, and clicking on various features, such as the elapsed time, cycles through display options. Note that the Menu tab is hidden until you mouse over it. Player controls live at the bottom, and a tab of gray options on the right expands to reveal further options for Video, DVD, Audio, Radio, and TV playback. Three circles marked ML, PL, and EQ toggle the detached Media Library, Playlist, and Equalizer panes.

The installation process checks your system for missing codecs, although you have to opt out of a BS.Player toolbar. We had no issues drag-drop-and-playing various Real, Quicktime, AVI, WMV, and MPEG-formatted videos. Also note that the new Media Library window owes much to iTunes. There’s not much you can do about that, since the included skins only change the look of the dashboard. BS.Player lacks modern ancillary media functions such as seeking out album art, but you can configure ID3 tags natively. If you’re feeling nostalgic for a stable media player with a familiar name but updated look and features, you can be bullish on BS.Player.

PRAYAG: Winners of 1st 'The Rising Rock Stars of India' Contest

Back in August, Mumbai based Hindi Rockers  Prayag called it quits (or rather said ‘up your’s to the mainstream) and released the debut album ‘Chapter 1′ for Free Downloading. As they say “good things happen to deserving bands people”, Prayag has won the first ever ibibo Rising Rock Stars of India contest and will get to  record an full length album (and three city promo tour) with CCR (Counter Culture Records). Although I am not a big fan of  ’record deals’ as they don’t often  materialize. (still waiting for Reverrse Polarity’s album via Channel V/CCR). Let’s hope that this time around we get see it happen.

Congratulations Prayag, You guys surely deserve  it.

 Heres a simple trick i discovered while using media player

Find a site that lets you play music or videos using media player
e.g. ringtones/mp3 and so on.

when media player loads and is playing your music/video click File then Save Media As..

select a place to save to and rename file if you wish but dont change File Type
leave it as Internet Cache then click save.

your music/video will then download quicker than normal download speed and you will then have your file in the location you set.

BUT this won’t work with every site so dont panic just try another

It has worked for me on several sites that allow you to listen to music or watch videos online

Liberado Games Decrypter v2 para PSP

Yoshihiro, ha liberado una nueva version del programa B-2 Game Decrypter para parchear los juegos que requieren FW 5.55 y 6.00. En ésta nueva version tiene mas compatibilidad en los juegos de PSP, incluyendo el Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

Como yo puedo usar esta herramienta ?

• Instalar la carpeta GameZDecryptZ en X:PSP/GAME  folder
• abrir tu iso con UMDGEN 4
• Go to File>File List>Export
• guardar esto como Filelist.txt
• extraer el EBOOT.BIN con UMDGEN4 en PSP_GAME/SYSDIR
• Poner tu EBOOT.BIN extraido del UMDGEN PSP_GAME/SYSDIR y ponerlo en la raiz de tu memory stick.
• Ahora tu puede reiniciar el game decrypter ahora tu puede presionar la X en 5 segundos y luego ya esta hecho.
• Conectar tu cable usb y chequear que en tu ms este la nueva carpeta llamada decryptor
• Copiar el eboot.bin del decryptor folder adentro del umdgen
• Go to File>File List>Import
• elegir Filelist.txt
• Seleccionar YES to forcing LBAs, then Save
• REbuild your ISO.

Free All Media, an Atlanta-based start-up, is the latest company to propose an ad-supported music downloading service. The company, which just announced its first seed round of funding Wednesday and expects to begin public beta testing by December, hopes to differentiate itself from flameouts like SpiralFrog with a unique advertising model that asks users to participate more directly in choosing the ads they’ll see.

The company’s CEO, Richard Nailling, explained how the company’s Web site, Free All Music, will work. Users will select an MP3 they want to download and a sponsor they’d like to “buy” that MP3 for them. They will then watch a video advertisement, between 15 and 18 seconds in length, from that advertiser. Once the ad is completed, they’ll be free to download the file, a 256kbps MP3 with no copy restrictions. No further advertisements will be served for that download.
