Back in August, Mumbai based Hindi Rockers Prayag called it quits (or rather said ‘up your’s to the mainstream) and released the debut album ‘Chapter 1′ for Free Downloading. As they say “good things happen to deserving bands people”, Prayag has won the first ever ibibo Rising Rock Stars of India contest and will get to record an full length album (and three city promo tour) with CCR (Counter Culture Records). Although I am not a big fan of ’record deals’ as they don’t often materialize. (still waiting for Reverrse Polarity’s album via Channel V/CCR). Let’s hope that this time around we get see it happen.
